What do Quantum computing, Superconductivity, Touchscreens, Solar cells, MRIs, Self-driving cars and deep learning have in common?

They are all new technologies developed by researchers working with industry partners. All in the US.

Indian Industry has spent woefully little in R&D over the last decades, and that needs to change. If we are to compete with the best, we cannot just be servicing Western companies. We need to start directing national focus on real innovation that solves for real issues standing in the way of our growth.

Fortunately a lot of innovation is happening in India. Fuelled by education, exposure, expanding government support and start-up funds set up by several leading universities, we do have a thriving bunch of young people whose workable ideas are shaped by mentors and grants to sustain through the product development until it is ready for the market.

The use cases for Graphene are endless and have not been fully explored yet. Our products are a few nano-metre in size. It is impossible to tell how it will behave when put into practical use unless we come into your factories and test how materials change when Graphene is added in various quantities, at various stages of production.

We need you to hold our hand. We will put our creative caps on and together we can innovate on use cases that may not have been explored yet. Whether you make cars or batteries, clothing, paints or buildings - we want to work with you and develop new, high-tech marketable products.

Indian companies spend hundreds of crores each year in CSR activities. Investing a little in Graphene research will go a long way in helping the environment, enhancing your product and also creating a body of data that will help India manufacture high-quality, high-tech engineered goods.
